Do the accompanying trail with a Mira dog!
MIRA Foundation is a charity founded in 1981.
MIRA created the first Canadian school of guide dogs for the blind in Sainte-Madeleine, Quebec.
From then on, MIRA has pursued its goal to increase independence of a person with disabilities and promote social integration by providing them dogs who have been developed and trained to respond to their habilitation and rehabilitation needs free of charge.
Since its inception, MIRA has provided over 3 000 dogs. Every guide and service dog represents a $30 000 investment. Mira does not receive any government subsidy and is self financed solely by donations from the general public and revenues deriving from a variety of fundraising activities.
To all those who support our efforts, we would like to express our gratitude from the bottom of our hearts.
